Pork Chops & Diced Hash Browns

I wasn't planning on making a post today. It was a last minute minute decision while grilling this, this morning.
Basil is a great addition to pork chops, as is seasoning salt and pepper. As well, green onions and red peppers to go with the fried hash browns.

Greek Seasoned Pork Ribs with Mashed Potatoes & Greens

At one point I had explained my process in cooking pork ribs, but the reality is that I was doing everything wrong and I prefer to not leave evidence of such disaster. However, the images look great and they will be left available for your viewing pleasure (until I re-create this meal, possibly).

Ice cream of the Year

I placed tasty looking fruit, then I poured on strawberry syrup and sprinkled delicious, fine sugar.

Rice noodles

I cooked a bowl of rice noodles. I think it is considered soup.

Red peppers, parsley, green onions, fried mushrooms, celery and turkey.

Pancakes

I grabbed some gluten-free pancakes while at The Bulk Barn a couple days ago. It was regularly over five dollars but it had a 75% off sticker so I said, "what the hell" and grabbed it, in addition to a bunch of other stuff (of course I bought candy)
I decided to try out some pancakes today; I read over the cooking instructions on the box 7 or 8 times then got started.
Pretty much the standard set of ingredients other than mix.
I added vanilla extract too.

...And they cook just as nice as regular batter.

I now have 3 days worth of breakfast for $1.77.

Introduction

I am a photographer and IT consultant from Saskatoon, SK. I came up with the idea of a food blog one night while cooking and wanted to share my creation with more than people in my phone, and with a camera better than my phone's. From time to time I may post some of my current non-food related work.

Edit:
I should mention too that I have a gluten allergy. This means the foods I post will be mostly gluten-free, except for trace amounts from some ingredients. Gluten is found in wheat, barley, rye and oats - which means I cannot consume any food containing those ingredients. I will try to provide accurate information or advice with each post if appropriate.
